Super Bowl: Second Quarter

See you after the big halftime show, featuring the English Peas, or some other vegetable.

Your dedicated correspondent just had a boiled shrimp snack and it was awful. That is all.

And the Pottsville Feelers draw within a hat-trick. Could be a game after all.

Big Ben done got his bell rung. Green Bay loses a key pass defender. Generalissimo Franco is still dead.

Pittstown forgot to show up for the game. Sorry, Jeff.

"Loggers" - Snickers: Nothing new. (OK, I was actually "out of the room" when this ad aired and didn't catch the end. Mike informed me that it was Roseanne Barr getting flattened, which does redeem the ad significantly.)

Coke slakes dragon's thirst. Very cool, with orks and humanoid polar bears.

Okay, Snickers. It was worth enduring 15 seconds of Richard Lewis just to see Roseanne Barr get flattened by a giant log.

Good job, Eric. I think your ant-ticks accurately reflected my own opinions of this year's ads and I enjoyed the running commentary although I followed along with a delay. (Too many DVR pauses while grilling the steaks.) I'm sure glad I don't have to put away all the production equipment you must've had to set up for the big event. But that's why you get paid the big bucks for the Big Game. Oh yeah, the game... pretty good.
