Weather Matches Mood

It's dark, windy and rainy, and there are signs of an approaching thunderstorm...very unusual weather for west Texas, especially given our decade-long drought. The rain is, of course, most welcome.

Overall, though, it strengthens my feeling of melancholy. My eyes have recently been opened to the true depth of the division caused by That Certain Movie, and I find that I'm now strangely conflicted about some things that I previously either had peace about, or didn't consider to be at all relevant.
