Moore is Less

If you're still wondering whether "Fahrenheit 9/11" is really accurate, or is simply the most current example of technology being used to create a story where none existed before, look no further than the official movie poster.

There should be a new Academy Award to commemorate this achievement: "Best Use of Photoshop To Take 30 Pounds Off A Filmmaker."

If you can't trust a guy to be honest in his own poster, how can you trust his movie?

Ah yes, the new film. (Perceptive readers like this blog's host will notice I scrupulously avoided describing it as a "documentary". It isn't. None of Moore's films are.)

There's bound to be a great deal of discussion about the new film and its creator over the next few weeks.

For those of us who care about the truth, the following URL will come in very handy.

Found two other sources, both highly valuable.

A web site:
http://www.moorelies.com

A blog dedicated exclusively to exposing the lies in Moore's new movie.
http://fahrenheit_fact.blogspot.com/

Well, that takes care of the new film, aside from getting the word out.

The people who are predestined to believe Mike Moore's drivel will lap it up. The rest of us won't.

"Film"? Heck, I won't even call it a film. It's a movie.

Box-office reports say it's doing real well - it came just under "Shrek II" for per/seat sales. I can't imagine anybody but confirmed Leftists going to see it. Even the "exit polls" have people gushing about how great it is. (But then, hardly anybody in his Right mind would go see it.)

The attendance figures do worry me, though. Everybody who's seen it seems ready to vote "ABB".
