Blue Bell has just announced a new ice cream flavor: Cantaloupe. It's made with gen-u-wine Pecos cantaloupe* (the best in the universe...but, then, you knew that).

And it's available only in Texas. Yee-haw!

*The downside is that this will make 'em even harder to find than they already are.

Probably will drive the price up too, making it harder to keep my turtles fed with their favorite repast.

Ooooh! As soon as I read your post, I started humming various BlueBell jingles. A friend and I used to make midnight HEB runs for BlueBell and eat it straight from the container while commisserating. Great therapy.
