I don't want to put words in her mouth – or marks on her ballot – but it appears that the scintillating Dawn Eden is perilously close to joining the ranks of the Single Issue Voters.
Just follow the light, kiddo...just follow The Light!

"Perilously close?"
Lemme know when she gets there! :D
I've been a Single Issue Voter since I turned 18.
Single issue? Oh yeah!
I can invariably count on a candidate's views on taxes, right to life, defense spending, etc. meeting my expectations if they take the "right" view on my Single Issue.
I've never seen a pro-gun, anti-life (let's NOT call it "pro-choice") candidate around here, yet.
I've seen plenty of anti-gun, pro-abortion candidates, though.
For them, "freedom of choice" doesn't include the freedom to choose an effective means of self defense.
The "it's my body" argument doesn't extend to "it's my body and I'd like to keep it safe".
Funny thing. For a group that scoffs at protecting the defenseless unborn, they do everything possible to protect the safety of dangerous, armed criminals.
I guess it's a regional thing, but I know a number of pro-gun, pro-abortion folks. For some, it's a "wild west" mentality: "do what you want, just leave me and my S&W alone."
