RSS Evangelism yields results!

I'm happy to report that yesterday's RSS pitch has brought two blogging pals over to the Dark Side, as Rachel (Life Being Beautiful) and Wallace (Streams) have both added a FeedBurner newsfeed to their respective sites.

If you're not familiar with FeedBurner, it's a free (for now, anyway) service that provides an add-on RSS feed to your blog or website, and it's a good alternative for bloggers who use services (such as the non-pro edition of Blogger) which don't provide built-in RSS capability. Both Rachel and Wallace said it was a snap to install.

Eric, being a non-blogger, I didn't understand all of this post. I was feeling a little stupid until I clicked over to the Feedburner home page and started reading ...

... now I feel A LOT stupid! :-)

But if it makes for a better blog, then that's fine. To paraphrase that old saying ... "I'm lost, but I'm making good time!" :-)

Well, we have to keep up with the Techie Jones'.

Jeff, an RSS feed doesn't necessarily make for a better blog, depending on your criteria. It provides an option for a more efficient delivery of content, but that says nothing about the quality of that content.

So, to paraphrase your paraphrase: we may be shoveling garbage, but we're shoveling it faster than ever before!

Wallace, is Techie Jones the guy the stadium in Lubbock is named after? I always wondered about that. ;-)
