W2: More of a good thing

Am I the last person on earth to see this?

W2: 4 more years of tax cuts and dead terrorists

I wonder if I could talk the Midland County GOP into putting this logo on their home page?

Wave o'the elephant ears to HokieGator.

I keep thinking of Jackie Gleason's famous send-off line on the Honeymooners.

Are you sure it's not just your cheap underwire? ;-)

[Yeah, I read that post, despite your warning! Laughed my head off, but I was afraid to leave a comment.]

And dead American soldiers. Oh, and dead Iraqi children. And women. And yes, dead, innocent, Iraqi men. By the way, let's not forget the dead contract employees. And the dead British soldiers. And dead soldiers from Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Thailand, Denmark, El Salvador, Estonia, and Poland.

Can you fit that on your bumper sticker?

Oh, that's right...I almost forgot. No one dies if Kerry's president! slaps forehead How could we have been so shortsighted?

What planet are you from, by the way? I couldn't tell by your IP address.

Who said anything about Kerry? How clever of you to deduce that everything I said meant that nobody would die if Kerry were president! You're so smart!

Despite that, you avoided point, and I bet you probably didn't think about it much to begin with. Does the loss of life (innocent life) concern you at all? Is it just a fact of war that thousands of people will die, but it's ok because there are some terrorists among the dead?

At least show some compassion, perhaps consider what it's like to be a man in Iraq and to have your home destroyed by an army from another country for reasons you don't understand, or to lose your family or maybe your leg.

By the way, I'm from the same planet as you.

...perhaps consider what it's like to be a man in Iraq and to have your home destroyed by an army from another country for reasons you don't understand, or to lose your family or maybe your leg.

Or have your own people raping your wife and daughters while a smiling dictator takes the money from the sale of your country's assets to furnish his palaces and fund his army which in turn gasses your countrymen and provides sanctuary to "martyrs" who will travel to other countries and cause other men to lose life, limb and family for reasons they don't understand...

Your pathetic "compassion" has resulted in the continuing deaths of hundreds of thousands more people than the liberation of Iraq (or Afghanistan) ever will.

Maybe if we hold hands and squeeze our eyes shut really really tightly and wish really really hard, all the bad people in the world will disappear, as if by magic. Sorry, pal...whoever you are, hiding behind your anonymity; we may be from the same planet, but we're certainly not sharing the same reality.
