Entry #3.) sounds like the start of a pretty good novel, either a murder/ true crime or a darkly funny fantasy.

The big question is how Santa Claus died.

I don't know if there's some hidden meaning in "crown asunder" - but "asunder" is a great word, and it only seems better next to "crown".
