Anybody got a clue as to why Bush the First and Willy Boy were part of the National Anthem ceremony? I mean, the guys are like Siamese Twins nowadays, but, really...

OK, I can see that (I didn't watch any of the pregame show)...but I still didn't get the connection to the rest of "The Greatest Generation."

I guess it's a Presidential Perk.

Bush 41 flew 54 combat missions and was shot down during WWII over the Pacific. He spent several days stranded in the Ocean before he was picked up. He belonged there, but Clinton did not.

The commercials are boring, but I thought the Fed Ex one was clever, and I loved the soldier commercial. Dallas has a welcoming committee that greets all the soldiers coming through the airport with applause and signs, so this commercial rings true for me.

Yeah, that was my thought too...Bush definitely earned a place in "The Greatest Generation." I guess they couldn't figure out a comfortable way to un-invite Clinton, as long as he was already there.

I liked the soldier commercial too. It's in my top 2 thus far.
