Name that Album Cover - Update #1

We seem to be drawing nothing but blank stares in response to the latest Name that Album Cover contest. So, out of the goodness of my heart, and in response to the guilt I feel over preventing a pastor from preparing his upcoming Sunday's sermon, here's another scan of the album, revealing a bit more of the real estate. The writing at the top of the image is part of the group's name.

Nope; still no hints from the URL, Pattie...

Really, now...it doesn't get much easier than this. ;-)

I'm a Methodist; we don't do guilt.

I am thankful for the increased revelation. But I still have no idea...

Freddie Furness and the Feelers?

Pattie's contest was easier, therefore better. ;->

I am having to give up. Do you know how many lists I have searched? It must be really, really, really obscure! But then I was only 5-6 years old in 1983, so that's my excuse!

aaaaghghghhhhhh!

It's late here in the eastern daylight zone. time for bed. I'm getting double vision... wait... is it Foreigner... Frankie Goes to Hollywood... Naked Eyes... A Ha....

Someone tell my brain to stop...

Jim, I'm Baptist, and we do enough guilt to make up for everyone else. And if you want your brain to stop, you've come to the right blog. ;-) (Although you might consider decaf as a separate but equal answer.)

Denise, it's so interesting watching you work your way through The Five Stages of Obscure Album Frustration. You got to anger pretty quickly; only two more stages and you'll be very accepting.

Rachel, I believe you've got a timeout coming, for playing the youth card! Don't you know that old peoples' feelings are easily hurt? ;-)

You guys are...well, let me just say that I've already done another scan to reveal more of the album. It'll go up sometime en la maņana.

Okay, okay - it's Ricky Martin's suave-vey older brother, Hector, and the Troglidites in drag...

Posted by: Cowtown Pattie at May 4, 2005 10:38 PM

If it's not Hector and the Troglidytes, I'm not sure I want to know who it *is*. That's a great band name! Put my vote down next to Pattie's.

oops, its spelled troglodytes.

I must confess to stealing a little of the original band's name - The Troggs, who are famous, of course, for that great, great song, "Wild Thing".

(Only in Cowtown it is pronounced "Wild Thang")
