If Giger made motorcycles...
...he'd make the Wraith.
Fortunately, we have Confederate Motorcycles to do it in his place.

Technorati tag: Confederate Motorcycles
It's nit-picking, but one-off bikes don't count, especially if they're just sporting the artwork. The cool thing about the Wraith is that it's going to be a production machine, and the entire design exudes the Giger style.
OTOH, if Giger actually provided any inspiration to the Wraith's manufacturer, they haven't acknowledged it.
That Hell Cycle photo is pretty striking, though.

Posted by: bryan at May 19, 2005 06:51 PMSuffering in the cause of art...it's all the rage.
Actually, it's hard to visualize how the seat might work. This design seems to call for a café racer riding style, so you wouldn't be sitting upright.

Actually, there already is a genuine Giger-inspired motorcycle.
My personal pick for the ultimate Giger-inspired bike is the "Hell Cycle" from the new "Ghost Rider" movie. Even without the CGI flames, it does capture that biomechanical/death aesthetic of Giger's.
Orange County Choppers will almost certainly be coming out with their own version.
