Deadbeat Client Revealed (Updated)

OK, this whole "use the blog to get back at someone who done you wrong" thing just isn't working for me. Hence, I've deleted what I posted yesterday evening, when I was typing instead of counting to ten, taking a deep breath and moving on.

This does not mean that the client in question should not be held to his obligations. But that's between he and I, and there's no useful thing to be gained by bringing you into it.

So, whatever you thought you read in this space earlier, well, it was just a dream. We now return you to our regularly scheduled Content Free™ blogging.

If it's any consolation Eric, you built a very nicely laid-out site. It's the little touches that make it stand out.

It's ironically fitting that bandito Roberto wears a black hat, sí?

Thanks; it was a low-budget project from the start, but I tried to make the most of what I had to work with.

Ah, well. one suspects your vengeance will be fitting. ;-)

Fair enough to remove it...I also agree, it was a nice site from what I saw. Well done (even if the man in question didn't deserve your work or time).

(re: the update). A good decision, I think.

I went to HS here with a Robert Axxxxx. I looked at the picture and couldn't tell after all these years if it was the same guy.

Wallace, if it is, he's discovered the Fountain of Youth and should have enough money by now to pay my piddling little bill!

No offense, but he's much younger than you. And me.

Sayyyyy ... how old IS Wallace, anyway ... some photos posted on Streams, the last couple of months, have me wondering .... hmmmm ... I feel a post coming on, over at ArchaeoTexture :-)

Posted by: Jeff at June 24, 2005 12:48 PM

I think a post about Wallace is quite appropriate subject matter for your blog. After all, there's the "Archaeo" -- meaning "older'n dirt" and then there's the "texture" -- meaning, well, you know.

Wallace, anything you'd like to add? ;-)

Horsepuckey. A thief is a thief. We used to hang them when they took our livelihood (but now we're civilized.) A blurb on a blog is light punishment. I'm kind of surprised that you didn't wipe the disk and delete the backups. And have a back door. And, and, and...

Well, anyway -- you're obviously a better man than me...gold star for you.

Wallace is timeless, Wallace is ageless.

Wallace has a rebuilt heart and a young wife which keeps him firmly placed in the fountain of youth.

[Hint: he graduated from M.H.S. in 1967, but was very young for his age.]

Wallace is also seriously delusional.

But, he does have a young and beautiful wife, although I'm unsure as to whether the impact he describes is actually accurate, for a variety of reasons that we need not explore at this point.

67!? Well, they made some fine cars back then, didn't they?
