Is this it for The Fat Guy?

Scott has posted a dancing pig, a partial quote from The Guv, and what appears to be an official, if somewhat cryptic, letter of resignation from the blogosphere. Of course, he's also without a/c and it could just be the heatstroke talking.

Personally, I hope he does go away, because that will free me up to post all the mindless and illogical opinions I want without someone interjecting inconvenient facts into the discussion.

That's what's known as "reverse psychology," and it's been known to work with small children and heat-addled bloggers.

More like a vacation than a retirement. Although that's not off the table. Just bored with typing into the interweb, except being a pest at other peoples' places.

I hear you, loud and clear. If it wasn't for the universal acclaim and riches beyond calculation that come my way, I'd chuck the whole thing myself.

Blogging issues aside, I do hope your a/c problems are now solved. Doing without that might have made our ancestors stronger and nobler, but I suspect they were also in a perpetual state of bad mood.

No relief, though today is supposed to be The Day the Motor Arrives. I've heard this for three days now, so I'm apathetic.

Like my ancestors, I'm ready to ride out and kill some Injuns, or some white people. I understand fully why they did that now. It wasn't to protect their ancestral hunting grounds or stake a claim. Heat makes you mean.
