Regrets? I've had a few...
It never fails...I'm looking out the back door onto a cool morning, clear skies (for now, anyway) and not a trace of wind. In short, perfect bike riding weather.
Perhaps I could do a series of 15-minute circuits through the neighborhood, terrorizing the walkers and garage-sale shoppers.
But, then, there's that whole sweat-dripping-into-the-keyboard miasma to deal with.
Duty calls. Plus, I have a treadmill not ten feet away.
Even I'm not brave enough to bike through our neighborhood late at night!

Of course, that's always how it plays out. Bike riding might come in handy along about hour 18 or so as you try to stay awake provided there's plenty of light on your street.
