All of this bloggy goodness doesn't come cheap, you know. There's a whole cadre of hangers-on, roustabouts, grips, sycophants, rabble-rousers and guitar-tuners on the payroll, working tirelessly behind the scenes to keep this joint hopping. And why would they do that, you ask? Because they want to raise some dough for a great cause, which in this case is Midland Fair Havens.

It's not too late to make a pledge; in fact, pledges will be taken through next Tuesday, August 9, even though the Blogathon itself ends in 21 hours. If you'd like to make a pledge, just pop over to Blogathon.org, and get registered. Or, if it's easier, email me [blogathon -a t- ericsiegmund.com] and I'll register the pledge on your behalf.

It's worth noting that as of a few minutes ago, we're just a five-spot short of $1,600 in total pledges! (Hint, hint...) Any amount is appreciated.
