Braggin' on the Bride
Just found out that MLB passed part 2 of the Certified Management Accountant exam. That part is, by all accounts, the toughest (it's the part that gets waived if you've passed the CPA exam, if that means anything to you ) and she's overjoyed to get it out of the way. So, two down...two to go.
And...way to go!
By the time she's finished with all of this, she'll have a string of letters following her name that will require an extra wide business card to accommodate.
Dang. I just realized that this means I probably need to take her out somewhere nice for dinner. Let's see...does Sonic take reservations? ;-)

Well, that's what I kept telling her, but she seemed to think that she was doing all the heavy lifting. ;-)

Posted by: Rachel at September 6, 2005 05:09 PMShe was quite thrilled, considering that she missed passing it by one question the last time she took it!
Posted by: Eric at September 6, 2005 05:54 PMFrom a fellow CPA, tell her I KNOW how hard she worked and she deserves to treat herself royally! Congrats!!
Posted by: TexasBug at September 6, 2005 09:58 PMWell, she's not a CPA (and doesn't plan on becoming one...she'll be content with the CMA), but thanks anyway. I really admire her tenacity and discipline in getting this done while working 50 hours a week, serving on two boards and volunteering at church. Good thing she doesn't need much sleep! ;-)
