Photographic Advice
Here's my advice if you ever get hired to create a website for someone who makes gift baskets and you're asked to shoot photos of those gift baskets and you find yourself surrounded by little plates and serving dishes and bowls full of fudge and salsa and candied jalapeņos and yogurt-covered pretzels and chocolate truffles and popcorn and ginger snaps and fudge: eat something before you go.
Otherwise, you're likely to come home after the photo shoot and binge on 47 (or 48, but who's counting?) almond M&Ms.
Or so I've been told.
Jim took the words (and the Jalapeno) out of my mouth.
Candied Jalapenos sound like some cruel prank the Johnson-Smith Company used to sell before they decided to reshape their product line in favor of crass T-shirts and "how-to" DVDs for losers.
What's next? Caramel-dipped Habaneros? Sugar coated Savinas? Tepin jelly beans?
No worries on the M&Ms, Eric. You don't get that many calories from M&Ms because the special candy shell keeps them in. ;-)

Posted by: coffeeshot at September 30, 2005 12:01 AMGuys, don't dis the jalapeņos until you've tried 'em. Think of them as sweet pickles...but with a kick. I wouldn't want a steady diet of them, but they're really tasty on brisket sandwiches and also as an accompaniment to homemade chili.
Speaking of which...I can't wait for the weather to get cold enough for that!
Posted by: Eric at September 30, 2005 06:46 AMYou counted the M&Ms you ate?
Posted by: jen at September 30, 2005 12:04 PMDoesn't everyone?
I mean, of course not. Um, that would be weird, wouldn't it?

That makes two of us, even though one of us doesn't need air conditioning anymore!
Chili tastes better on cold days. It just does.
Oh, most definitely. Same goes for my wife's amazing homemade beef stew...
Posted by: Eric at September 30, 2005 04:24 PMI always count my M&M's. But I count by the bag rather than individual pieces...fewer calories that way.

My kind of CPA! ;-)
