Ooh! You're using that sometimes twisted humor of yours a little too much this morning! (Great cartoon work!)

You don't really believe that I got up this morning and did this, do you? No, it takes most of the day for my humor to get really twisted!

I laughed.

Gallows humor is my favorite kind, and twisted gallows humor, well that makes me downright euphoric.

Admit it, Jim...you had the same thought when you first saw the announcement that Bush was sending Leavitt to Asia to check out the flu thing.

Twisted birds of a feather. ;-)

Well... ok. I admit it.

In other news, I clicked on the Just Plain Silly link at the top of this post as I thought I might find Unintended Consequences #1. What I got as a result was mighty strange. Layers of Fire Ant goodness is the only way to describe it.

Is that some secret design trick to flummox Windows users?

Gee, I thought the design was perfect for a category entitled "Just Plain Silly."

Actually, it's a good example of Unintended Consequences. If you scroll down through the category, you'll see some images that are wider than the content block can accommodate. These date back an earlier blog design and I've not gotten around to fixing them (and I don't know that I ever will). So, it's not just windows users who get the spectacularly broken view...
