Cousin Bart Wins Big!

I didn't mention it after posting about the first round, fearing I'd jinx him, but my cousin Bart ran away with the Tour Champions golf tournament today, winning by six strokes, shooting a record score and pocketing a nice $1.2 million in the process. Tiger Woods was runner-up...which tells you about the quality of competition. Bart led or was tied for the lead for the entire tournament.

There's no way to adequately state how important this win was to his career. He made more money today than in the first eighteen years combined, and the money's nice. But more important, it validates him as one of the premier golfers on the Tour.

It couldn't happen to a nicer, more humble guy. Way to go, cuz!

Here's something to blow your socks off! I happened to be watching the main news and who did I see but Cousin Bart himself!

It was kinda surreal but very cool!!! He did some great recovery shots!
