Pop Quiz

What semi-hit song from the last century contained the word "spaghettied"...and who sang it?

No fair googling. Either you know it or you don't.

Bonus question: Why?

"HAIR".....by the Cowsills.

"hair....mangled, spangled and spaghettied"

Heh, yeah...flaxen, waxen, bangled, tangled...and brilliantined! Weren't there also some fleas and birds and daisies and polka dots in there somewhere? And some serious drugs in the green room, no doubt.

But the Cowsills? Really?? I don't think so, but I don't have another guess either. Andrew Lloyd Webber? :-)

Wallace, you old hippie, you...that's absolutely correct.

Gwynne, he's right...the Cowsills made a commercial hit out of the theme song from "Hair."

I always got the Cowsills and the Osmonds confused.

Of interest on the Cowsills website......one of the original brothers in the group, Barry, has been missing in New Orleans since hurricane Katrina.

Wallace, I'll bet you've had the Cowsills website bookmarked for years, haven't you? That's OK; it'll be our little secret.

However, it is sad that one of them seems to have gone missing after Katrina.
