Snowboard Cross: When the BMX wheels fall off

I've decided that my favorite winter Olympic sport is Snowboard Cross. It's like downhill cycling without brakes. The only way it might be improved is if they gave the competitors batons (or swords) to duke it out during the jumps.

Sweeeeet!

(OTOH, the women's snowboarding half pipe is boring beyond imagining.)

Gnarly, Dude.
Although I enjoyed the Snowboard Cross, I don't think I've ever seen so many wrecks in the men's (?) figure skating. Maybe there's too much helium in those skating loafers.

I'm sure they do, but I'll never get to try it out. The guy I go skiing with refuses to even consider taking snowboarding lessons. Wimp.

I guess I can see his point, though. We usually get only one ski trip a year, and spending that time taking lessons for something we don't know if we'd be any good at is probably not a wise use of time.
