Better than a drum solo?

In an interesting coincidence, we had a cut from the Beatles' Abbey Road on our just-completed music quiz, and then this amazing video shows up as an emailed link.

Scott thinks drums are boring, but perhaps they just need a little visual accompaniment.

Tip of the chainsaw/bowling ball/watermelon to cousin Danny, out there in Kerrville.

Wow.

I saw Chris Bliss years ago. He was the opening act for none other than Julian Lennon. He was astounding then and obviously has only improved.

I received that email recently also...impressive! So, do you suppose you might be able to put together a little video montage for the next quiz? ;-)

Oh, and by the way, the quiz was fun...thanks! :-)

There was a great special on PBS several weeks ago with Paul McCartney showing us around the Abbey Road studios and using some of the old equipment to make new music. Of interest was the very antique synthesizer they used to produce some of the unique sounds on things like Sgt. Pepper. Very interesting for us old rockers.
