And, in case you are wondering...

"Vomit" is the 17,953rd most frequently used word in the English language while "regurgitate" is way back at number 55,799, according to WordCount. You can look up "puke" yourself, if you're really that interested.

Thingy? Really?

It's also kind of fun to see how certain combinations of words fall adacent to each other.

Well, I guess that depends on your definition of fun (#1988).

I'm pretty sure "adacent" doesn't appear in the database, although "adjacent" probably does. But I'm quitting while I'm only a little behind.

Eric, I think you ought to try making a post out of the top 100 words. You know, something we can all understand. No complicated words like conquistador.

Gwynne, I have a better idea: why don't YOU write a post using NONE of the top 100 words! ;-)

That reminds me of the book that was written without using the letter "e."

Wallace, "fire ant" is actually two words, and the average ranking of the two is 6,435...well ahead of piddling Streams.

piddling Streams

Eric, this is not the forum for discussing bathroom behavior...or is it? ;-)

why don't YOU write a post using NONE of the top 100 words.

LOL :-)

Oh, you know that's never going to happen. ;-)
