I've a commitment as a pallbearer in a funeral right after lunch, and with the usual Monday meanderings I'm running behind in my bloggage quota. But, never fear...I shall return later today...with a smackdown of another local blogger, no less! ;-)

Which reminds me, Jim at serontininrain, is marking his first anniversary on the blogosphere ... I need to post some 'best wishes' on my blog ... he does good work, and has been good for us ...

Is there, like a gift or something? Because my first anniversary in the blogosphere was back in January. There wasn't a party or anything.

And you're right, Jim is on my short list of go-to bloggers. The devotional he did for us was the best devotional I've ever read.
