Later...

As in, "catch you..."

This is shaping up to be a week of very little blogging, here at the 'zette, for reasons varied and sundry.

Hope that your week goes well and that your reasons varied and sundry don't keep you too busy :).

But...it's only Monday. I hope all is okay. Is Abbye doing alright?

Thanks, guys. Don't read anything into this; it's just the mostly happy effects of an uptick in business combined with the coincidental scheduling of some volunteer commitments.

As long as it's nothing bad. :) Upticks in business are probably good things, so I'll do a little "Yay" dance for you, even though I'd certainly prefer you had time to blog.

Those upticks always seem to come when the calendar is already filled with other commitments.

I'm going through the same thing right now.

You know, you really should call the exterminator for those upticks. They can give you a nasty bite...

Beth, a "yay dance" is in order, as long as your Baptist feet don't balk. I've grown accustomed to eating regularly, so paying business is always welcomed. But I appreciate the sentiment.

Jim, I'm looking forward to hearing more... ;-)

Patti, it really depends on where those ticks are up, doesn't it? ;-)

I'm not a Baptist, I just play one on Sundays.

I don't really fully identify with any denomination. I'm an Evangelical Christian. I'm probably (honestly) closest in theology to the Presbyterians on most things but I can't find a PCA church in our area (I could probably just stop there) that doesn't swing way too liberal on other things for my taste. Pretty much I've gone to, and enjoyed etc., just about every kind of major denomination but Methodist at one point or another.

All that to say, my non-denominational feet will not balk and the yay dance will commence as soon as I'm sure no one can see me. (Since my lack of rhythm makes being a member of a Baptist church a handy excuse.)

Thanks for the clarification; I'll try not to sully your rep with the term in the future. ;-)

I've always been a bit saddened by the need to put "evangelical" in front of "Christian," feeling that that phrase should be a redundancy of the first order. But it's not, and so I understand (and occasionally employ) that usage.
