Photo - Bougainvillea
Bougainvillea in our front yard. Both colors of blossoms originate from the same branch. They start out pink and eventually turn white.
Photo - Orange Bell
Mexican Bird of Paradise Flower of unknown species growing in Fort Stockton. Referred to as "orange bell," but can't confirm the accuracy of that name. Click for larger image.

Wish I could take credit, Gwynne. It's really just a combination of God and Canon, and even then, God did the heavy lifting. ;-)

Just thought I would weigh in here. The second picture is not an orange bell - it's a red bird of paradise. Said orange bell has just been procured and is not in the ground yet or blooming.
