Transitioning back to La Hacienda
We've shut down at HEB and I am back at home, trying to get reorganized to blog via the desktop.
Figured you want to know that.
Yeah, blogging in the HEB was a great idea. Sorta like team blogging.
Also, I noticed that your pledge total is nearly $3000. Sweet!
Posted by: Denise at July 29, 2006 02:59 PMYeah, I can see you back home there in the Reading Area!
Posted by: Brian at July 29, 2006 03:02 PMNo, actually, Brian, I on the patio. You gotta move pretty quickly to keep up with me!
Julie, I don't think it accomplished much for Midland Fair Havens, but at least folks got to see the name and maybe it'll register in their consciousness. But we did have fun interacting with a steady stream of people who dropped by to visit. It's just not an environment that's very conducive to creativity.
Oops. There goes my excuse.
Denise, the MFH folks are VERY happy with the pledge totals!
Posted by: Eric at July 29, 2006 03:06 PMYay for home. :) Though it's definitely cool to go to a public place...of course, that only works when you're not anonymous. :)

The grocery store thing was cool. It made the blogathon a little more of an event than the feeling of "hey, I'm at home on my computer for 24 hours and it seems silly and is this really an event?"
Not that I'm thinking that.
Well, back to the west.
