And here's another thing...
Want to know what being a freelancer is like? I just got an email from a client asking me to do a quick update of his website.
Update: Make that TWO clients wanting updates...at 10:45 p.m. on a Saturday night. *sigh* They must know what my social life is like. ;-)
but did they pledge;>)
well it is bed time for those of us who really don't have a life! If I get up to check my blood in the middle of the night, I'll give you a holler!!
Have fun...and oh yeah, you will be done before I get up in the morning - hahaha
Beth, I'm sure they're just thinking of my well-being and blogging success.
Unfortunately, neither of them pledged. Well, I take that back...I don't know, since there have been several anonymous pledgers, including one who revealed her identity but who shall remain in that gray area.
Lyle, you're too young to be turning in already!
Posted by: Eric at July 29, 2006 11:00 PMWhat you need is bacon. Bacon will keep you going strong throughout the night. And don't forget to lock your doors and windows so pirates can't get it. Arrr
Keep up the good work!
"you're too young to be turning in already"
I'm really 87...turning in early has kept me looking so young. Either that or you remember that offer of dropping off Kevin? Maybe I'll keep him here tonight and then drop him off when he wakes up in the morning!!!
And I just took a good look at your ...a pause with Abbye and if I didn't know better, she was enjoying you show her a couple of rabbits running through a field. She really looks like she is fully engrossed in what is on the screen!!!
She really looks like she is fully engrossed in what is on the screen!!!
Yeah, that's actually an amazing photo, given that she can't even see the screen, much less what's on it, and what's she's really trying to do is wriggle out of my hold before I give her another shot! (Or so she thinks.)
Posted by: Eric at July 29, 2006 11:10 PMThis has nothing to do with anything in particular, but Kevin just gave you something to think about tonight. He just came out to hug and kiss me goodnight and he said "my tongue hurts". And then proceeded to answer my question as to why..."well you know when I twist my tongue? I twisted it the other way and it went too far and got over on my shark teeth and then it went to the other side and is on my normal teeth". Now think about what may have possessed the young lad to try to "twist" his tongue (and yes he can) and try other tricks with his tongue...(hint) he has a young-teen sister!! Good night all.
ps..you may want to check on Jimmy, he just posted that it was 8:00 am Sunday!!!
I think she can hear the rabbits (or are they baby squirrels?) on the screen...dogs hear things that people do not, you know. ;-)
Posted by: Gwynne at July 29, 2006 11:18 PMLyle, can you not turn your tongue upside-down?
Gwynne, I'll bet you're right...she could hear all those little pixels scurrying around!
Posted by: Eric at July 29, 2006 11:27 PMI can stick my tongue out and that is it. Am I the only normal person? The rest of the family can turn their tongue one way or the other or both and other oddities.
That ought to lend itself to some nightmares if you ever get to sleep....
Am I the only normal person?
Yeah, Lyle...keep telling yourself that.
Posted by: Eric at July 29, 2006 11:43 PMOK...so it isn't me and we know it isn't you (blog for 24 hours???) maybe there is no such thing as normal. Just subtle abnormalities?
Posted by: lyle at July 29, 2006 11:52 PM
Ooorrr, they saw you out at HEB today and knew you'd be up all night blogging, so they didn't want you to fall asleep!
