And the bride wore pink...ropers, that is

You may be a Texan if...

...you wear pink full-quill ostrich ropers under your wedding dress:

Gotta love it...although you can't help wondering at how the groom was shod.

Blue boots? (You know, to show he's a guy.)

Works for me, although I like Chinese red boots on a pretty girl. I find that most attractive...especially on a blonde.

And my bride was upset because one of my groomsmen wore funky socks.

Beth, that blue better be accompanied by some red and white, with the latter being in the shape of a Lone Star, or there's gonna be trouble. ;-)

Wallace, any particular blonde?

Foo, it's the bride's prerogative to be upset about such details. The double standard is alive and well on the planet of Nuptialia, and doomed is the man who tries to challenge it.

Not just pink ropers...but Ariat Fat Babies!!

They are so popular even Dillard's is selling them.

Man, I need to get out more!

But, I'm not setting foot in the mall this weekend...no sireebob. People get crazy on tax free weekend, and a guy could get hurt.

My sister wore white Ropers for her wedding.

I'm on the record as being all for brides wearing cowboy boots. I think it's cool...much more so than grooms wearing sneakers with their tuxes. Guys just can't pull stuff like that off. They just end up looking like hipster doofi.
