uh oh. Maybe you're just mentally reacting to the cold snap out there in the flatlands?
Posted by: Jim at January 15, 2007 08:31 PMMaybe your thermostat has been jacked?
Posted by: Janie at January 15, 2007 09:20 PMI hope that is not the start of being sick! That would just be terrible! How are you feeling now?
Posted by: Rachel at January 15, 2007 11:52 PMMaybe part of your mind is thinking about next month's utility bill!
Posted by: Jeff at January 16, 2007 06:55 AMEric,
That is what more than 14% body fat is for
Being denser than the ice that didn't fall here in Houston, I didn't "get" the chills remark until a bit later. Hope you're feeling better, Eric.
Posted by: Bret at January 16, 2007 09:08 AMIt's only worse when it's 60 degrees in the house and you're sweating.
Feel better soon!
Posted by: beth at January 16, 2007 10:03 AMThanks, guys. I am feeling better this morning, after going to bed before 9:00 last night (wearing a t-shirt, sweatshirt, sweatpants, and socks vs. my usual -- well, not that much) and waking up at 11:00 pm for a shot of NyQuil. Still have a bit of a sore throat but the chills are gone.
I suspect I'm just allergic to awards shows. The mere sight of Alec Baldwin gives me the shivers.
Posted by: Eric at January 16, 2007 10:14 AMOMG...I've got the same thing, except I'm at the office... Bad throat, cold but wearing a warm sweater and sitting under the heat vent...coughing up my guts. Going home at noon for Dayquil and a long nap.
Posted by: julie at January 16, 2007 10:41 AMFortunately, I avoided the cough. That Dayquil is good stuff; see that you do carry through with your plan, and get better!
Posted by: Eric at January 16, 2007 10:44 AMI'm suffering similar symptoms...sore throat, shivers, pink cheeks, tired. Must be contagious. Get well quickly!
Posted by: Gwynne at January 16, 2007 11:29 AMYikes! Hope I'm not a carrier...the Typhoid Mary of the Blogosphere.
Quick...disinfect your keyboard. And hit the Dayquil!
Posted by: Eric at January 16, 2007 11:31 AMThe mere sight of Alec Baldwin gives me the shivers.
Not me. Alec Baldwin does to me what something did to Bret's bird. Tim Robbins causes facial tics and a bad breath. Susan Sarandon makes my teeth itch.
They ought to come with disclaimers like on prescription drug adverts.
Posted by: Foo at January 16, 2007 02:00 PMWell, here's the amazing thing: I didn't even see Baldwin on the show last night!
That's right...his presence traveled back in time to afflict me, via preemptive strike. Now that's toxic.
Posted by: Eric at January 16, 2007 02:09 PMAlec Baldwin rules!
Posted by: Jim at January 16, 2007 03:36 PMOh, surely you meant Adam, right? It's a common mistake.
Posted by: Eric at January 16, 2007 03:41 PMEric, its just cold...
Posted by: hokulea at January 18, 2007 07:12 AM
You're not sick, Eric, are you?
