Programming Note
Posting may be light-to-nonexistent around here for the next few days due to the Easter holiday...
...although...you never know what might show up here. ;-)
As always, quality bloggage is still available 24-7 from the fine folks listed in the right hand column.
Bleh. I was all set to take full advantage of the long weekend to train my tail off, but the weatherlady has other ideas. So, who ordered the cold??
Posted by: Foo at April 6, 2007 08:44 AMHey, does that mean I have a quality blog? Hmm...when did that happen? :)
Posted by: Stephen Shores at April 8, 2007 03:29 PMJimmy, I think you have me confused with some other ASCII character.
Foo, only a wimp would wimp out in sleet, drizzle and snow. Take it from me, a world class wimp.
Stephen, to ask that question implies that I would have something other than quality blogs on my roll. Heaven forbid!
Posted by: Eric at April 8, 2007 07:08 PMAt least I'm in good company.
Next weekend, though... I'm going for my first (imperial) century. Wish me not-dead-by-the-side-of-the-roadness.
Posted by: Foo at April 8, 2007 09:50 PM"They" say you should be easily able to ride in a day the same distance as your average weekly training mileage. You *have* been averaging 100 miles per week, haven't you? ;-)
But what do "they" know? The weather's supposed to be nice next weekend, and I'm sure you've chosen a nice flat route with nothing but tailwinds, so you'll be fine. I look forward to a report.

I never actually noticed this until now, but if Hollywood ever made a live action movie about the life of the winking emoticon ;-), it would no doubt star Eric. Dude, you're the spitting image of the winking emoticon.
