EZ there, folks...
I didn't see his report so I don't know the specifics behind Jimmy's apology and the removal of his video from the MRT's website, but I feel confident that his story on Midland's public transportation system – the E-Z Rider – was never meant to belittle or demean the system or those who use it.
You'll never meet anyone as considerate, self-effacing, and downright nice as the Jimster; if you look up "sensitive" in the dictionary, you'll see his photo. This leads me to believe that those who took offense to the report were looking for a reason to be offended. When you set out to be offended, you're almost guaranteed to find something to fit the bill.
Thanks, Eric, that's nice of you, you're a class guy. And as you said, I'm pretty sure I'd do the same thing :)

Hey, I'm offended at something you said! Give me a minute and I'll think of what it was.
I read Jimmy's apology and now I'm wishing they had kept the video up.
BTW, I can second your comments about him. They are accurate to the letter. And that's a nice picture of him in the dictionary too.
