[Under the] Bed Head
Being blind, Abbye is not particularly concerned about whether she makes it completely under the bed before taking a nap:

This is actually a more flattering pose than usual, as in this case it's her head that didn't make it all the way under.
Gosh, I wish I could while away my day napping under the bed.
You say that, but you forget that with great napping comes great responsibility. Abbye's duties as Dog of the House are extremely stressful, and a little down time (say, 18 or 20 hours a day) is essential to maintaining that razor-sharp edge that she's famous for.

Posted by: gwynne at July 10, 2007 05:43 PMMy dog is too busy being on the bed, to sleep under it! Abbye is looking her usual cute self though!
Posted by: Rach at July 11, 2007 04:01 AMAbbye's too old and arthritic to get up on the bed anymore. But she's always preferred the security of being in her crate or under the bed. I guess she has the instinct to seek out a den.

What a cutie.
Gosh, I wish I could while away my day napping under the bed. (The girls prefer to nap on the couch in the basement...I'd be ok with that location as well.)
