Adventures in Homebuilding - Pt. MCMXVII

I'm not an engineer nor an architect, and I didn't stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night, but I can't help thinking that this can't be good:

Photo of water leak

Standing water in one of the bedrooms is not a feature we designed into the floor plan. It could be worse, of course. If we must have a plumbing leak, now is the time to have it, before the flooring, painting, cabinetry, and all that other good stuff complicate things.

Oh, no!! That's not good, at all!

The good news is that getting it fixed shouldn't delay anything in the overall process. They were trying to set cabinets in that area, but it's no big deal to put that off for a few days.

That's good. Happy Thanksgiving week to you and yours, Eric.

The shape of the water looks like a lizard...Just a thought!

See, that's another problem. I distinctly told them that any water leaks were to be in the form of a squirrel. It's hard to get good help these days!

Thanks, Janie...you, too!

Clearly what happened is they nicked a pipe while putting a door in wall just so you could get to the hall bathroom. If you weren't so demanding about being able to get in and out of ALL the rooms in your house, this probably wouldn't have happened. :)

Yeah, we need to rethink our whole concept of usability.

So, what does the guard rabbit have to say about all this?

*glub* I wish I'd learned the backstroke. *glub*

I'd blame it on the Snakes in the Pipes. ;-)

***rofl***

It's always entertaining around here in the land of no content!!

Gwynne, would you use a plumber's snake to take care of such a problem?

Janie, I'm glad my travails are such a source of amusement. ;-)
