...trippy
Why, thank you! I'll take that as a compliment, although I'm not sure you're old enough to own that adjective. ;-)
Posted by: Eric at July 26, 2008 08:16 AMWow, Eric. I love that.
Posted by: Janie at July 26, 2008 09:18 AMOh! Very pretty. Where did you take these?
Posted by: Deborah at July 26, 2008 12:53 PMThese are beautiful. It's more difficult to get a great sun shot than it appears. Sunsets or Sunrises? Both?
Did you use any filter other than negative on the second?
Posted by: Donna B. at July 26, 2008 04:31 PMThanks, ladies. I took these photos during an amazing sunset last week while we were walking the dog. I was afraid the camera wouldn't do them justice (as Donna points out, it's really hard to get a good shot of the sun), and sure enough, I was quite disappointed with my inability to capture the splendor.
So, I turned to my good friend Photoshop, and decided if I couldn't capture the natural drama, I'd try to introduce it artificially. Everything you see is done via software; the images themselves came straight out of a 10 megapixel point-and-shoot Sony digicam.

Theses pictures are trippy. You should participate with the SkyWatch carnival when you've got pics like these. http://skyley.blogspot.com/
