Tech Support That's Out of This World

I see that India has landed a probe on the moon.

This probe was unmanned, and I'm sure that there's no truth to the rumor that the next one will carry the staff for Dell's newest tech support office.

I love tech support from India. They are so polite in telling you that they are absolutely powerless to do anything about your complaint and they are completely convincing when they tell you they feel worse about that than you do.

Great, way to encourage that blatant stereotyping of tech support.

Within days, with different companies I experienced tech support from India and tech support from Ireland.

Though I have no Indian ancestry (that I know of) I have plenty of Irish ancestry and true to form, just like my grandfather, they told me fix it myself :-)

Bret, I know that's you. I could understand everything you said.

they told me fix it myself

And, just like your self-sufficient ancestors, you probably did.
