I wish I'd made this image larger, so you could better discern the beautiful green color of the water in this stream that flows unabated from a spring seven or eight miles west of Fort Stockton. The water has a high sulfur content – you can smell it long before you can see it. It colors the ground around it; it also makes plant life jump for joy (figuratively speaking, of course) due to the natural nutrition. Taken in Pecos County, Texas.
