I recently upgraded to Adobe CS4, and I'm trying to learn to use the new (to me) features of the latest version of Photoshop. One of those features is the ability to generate 3D graphics from "flat" images. The tansformational power of the 3D tools is amazing. This image was generated from this photo, a picture of some water-covered gravel in the gutter in front of our house. I'll confess that I've yet to find a practical use for these effects, but life isn't just about practicality, is it? Taken in Midland, Texas.
