I wish I could say that I intentionally overexposed the photo that gave rise to this image; the truth is that I messed up (and still don't know how). But I liked the framing of the shot, and with a little tweaking, this plant of unknown identity took on the aspect of an alien solar system. Photo taken in Midland, Texas.
